Original, intense, and exciting, Gadje blends Gypsy music influences with Rock and other music from around the world. Known for their energetic and captivating live performances, Gadje was formed in 1998 by Art Bakert, Nikolai Ruskin, Jesse Koennecke, and Brandon Loveall. After a four year hiatus, Gadje has been "resurrected" in 2008 with a new line-up, incorporating fresh music, ideas, and instruments into their eclectic but distinct mix of original music.

Gadje is: Art Bakert (guitar, vocals, keyboards, violin, harmonica), Jesse Koennecke (percussion - especially Doumbek - and vocals), Amelia Rosenthal (drum kit, zills, and vocals), and Matt DiLeo (bass and vocals)
